Default shocks.

so saturday my retired mechanic neighbor and i are putting my leveling kit on. tomorrow after work im going to put the rear shocks on because its one less thing to do saturday. do i need to torque the bolts to a certain spec or just as tight as i can get them?

I've Always just tightened em nice and tight and checked a few days later again to make sure they stayed tight. But thats at your own discretion. Anytime you mess with steering or suspension you always want to go back later and make sure there still tight. Last time I did a lift one of the nuts came loose. Thats why its a good thing to check on em later on.

double checking is always a good thing. just like in construction one saying is measure twice cut once. lol even though you still make mistakes. lol

Yeah lol...If you have a torque wrench readily available though I would torque. Im just to lazy to go borrow one so I just tighten em

i found this in google. i know its for 08s but a lot probably hasnt changed in torque specs.
