my 2001 Chevy Silverado 5.3 .. is having a problem getting all monitors ready to smog. Evap, EGR, Heat Sensor, secondary air.. please help with suggestions. this has been an issue for way to long ... I have done the cycle.. changed all sensors twice . secondary air valves, cleaned mass air etc... I'm done putting money into it.

 

any monitors running and failing?

 

there are a 5 that show ok and 4 that show incomplete. they check engine light will come on stating that I have low circuit volts on O2.

 

I take it you've replaced all the O2 sensors (I think it's 4 in this truck?) and check to make sure the wiring is good? What's the actual code you're getting?

 

the monitors will not run until the fault is repaired. the task manager knows that running a test with a fault present will produce a invalid result; so monitors are withheld.
