Default Someone please help! W/answer

hi, i'm new and have a question.

I own A 2008 silverado 1500 z-71 4x4 5.3 engine 3.42 gear ratio.

6" lift 35" tires.

If i change to 4.56 ratio, i hear it will bring everything back to stock.
is this true?????

if it is, then it goes to figure that i won't need a recalibration right?
just keep the stock tune on the computer?

you should have to get it tuned anyways for the lower gears i would think, it will help push the 35s much better than the 3:42s will though. but im pretty sure there's still a call for a tune
