Default Please Help Someone!!

I spliced in a 4 prong wiring harness for a trailer...

Before Splicing:
all lights worked

After Slipicing:
blew a fuse. all lights in rear of truck not working. brakes, turn signals, parking lights, not working...however, they worked, shut off, worked shut off, worked for 5 mins, then shut off for good

After Replacing Fuse:
brake and turn signals work
no license plate and running lights

Help please!!

If I undo the ground wire the brake lights and turn signals dont work. But when I reconnect the ground wire, they work, but the parking lights in the rear still dont work...

Yes parking lights. When you turn your headlights on the two rear lights come on as well. Well they dont. Lol

do you have 2 ground wires..?.......maybe you have2 ground wires and one is hanging somewhre?

Its a long shot but MAYBE you popped both bulbs, if you blew a fuse you had to have an excessive amount of current somewhere, I find it hard to beleive you popped both sides, but I would chekc it out. Your brake and signals are on the smae bulb but the park lights are seperate.

Another question. Have you checked to see if you have power at the parking light connector for thetrailer that you spliced on?Could be something wrong with your splice.
