Default someone please help

When i turn my ac on it works fine just for a few minutes, then the compressor kicks out and the ac light flashes and the red wire on the blower relay gets very hot,by the way I have a 92 with a 5.7

Edited thread title. Please re-frame from this kind of approach.

sounds like you have a short somewhere in the wiring. Trace all the wires back and look for any damage. Pay special attention to the red wire on the blower relay. A short will cause the wire to heat up like that.

Default ac wire prob

could i disconnect that hot wire and run a new one straight to the battery?I want to tell you that with the ac off that red wire is hot, then when you turn thr ac and blower on that very same red wire becomes a ground. The wiring diagram in the Haynes book only confuses me more man,Im really stumped on this.

Default A/C Comp not working

Sounds like the a/c is drawing to much amp causing the wire to get hot. check and see if the comp turns freely and not binding
