Hello, I drive a 1996 K1500 Silverado and It doesn't have a spare tire tool kit. I now have a jack but I need the spare tire tool to lower the tire. Does anyone know what type this model uses? I'm trying to find one online or have my step-dad make one because the Chevy house wanted almost $300 for the one part and I'm a broke college kid. Has anyone bought an aftermarket one before? Also where is the spare kit normally stored in this model? I'm pretty sure I haven't just overlooked it but who knows. Thank you.
