Default Spare tire removal

I installed a 24" wheel and tire package so shouldn't I just remove the spare tire to save weight? Wheel locks on one lug of each and I'm not carrying around the key so if I got a flat they would just need to toe it and repair or replace the tire.

How does the overall diameter of your new tires compare with the spare? If not too different, you could probably go short distances with your spare. Of course you'd need to have the lock key.

I agree with shark, I would rather have the spare (If overall diameter is compatible) than not in case you get a flat in po dunk middle of nowhere usa.

The 2007 ignition/door key is the same one used for the spare lock

I'd have to agree with Rockstar, key was in center console of a previous car, $2500 rims gone and they replaced them with bricks.
