Default Speakers problem

Hello chevy fans

My front right speaker quit working ... i tested ohm on both front speakers..

they're 9.5 ohm speaker

Left has no resistance at all lol 0.00

right one resistance 3.66k ohm.

I'm a bit confused because the speaker with no resistance is the one working

anyone know what the problem is?

Chevy uses cheap paper cone speakers. They do not last long and need to be replaced when acting up. When replacing buy a better speaker and it will last much longer.

At first you need to check the fuses. If both front speakers are not working, then either the fade control is set to rear speakers only, or the front speaker plug has fallen out. If so, you will need to check the fade control first. Check the speakers by connecting them to a known good channel and check the wires for continuity. If it's not, then it could be the head unit. You should replace it.
