starter question

Hi, I was wondering if a starter from a 96 v8 silverado fit a 91 sierra v8 both engines being a 350 automatic.?

You should have no problem so long as the vortec starter are the same. GMC an Chevy have the differences in the body. But they started vortecs in 96 and I don't know if they are the same or not.

Sorry just thought of this, but call a parts store and have them look it up, if they get the same part number it will work.
