Default steering/leak issue

so i picked up a 1997 chevy silverado 1500 a few weeks ago. i plan on taking it back to the dealership tomorrow but i was hoping someone could help me out. i am having alot of trouble turning the wheel to the right, and only the right. this began about two days ago. im thinking maybe pittman arm? its only difficult at the beginning of turning the wheel.
2) i am having a issue with a leak as well, i crawled under the truck and checked it out,it seems to be pooling directly under the t case so at first i thought that was the issue. then i popped the hood and saw that there is alot of fluid on the right side of the engine as well. the oil all appears to be oil but im not positive.

basic truck info, 97 silverado 1500 5.7L new motor before i purchased it. 6inc susp lift 36 toyo m/t ext cab
