Default Power Steering Leak & Speedometer Calibration

I have a 99 Tahoe with 60,000 miles on it. All of a sudden I have a significant power steering leak. I am pretty sure it is one of the hoses. Any idea how much I am looking at?

Also, I have smaller overall diameter tires onthe trucknow. Therefore the speedo shows a faster speed than the actual. How do I calibrate it?

As to the power steering leak, it's not a difficult fixif you or a friend have just basic skills and a couple of wrenches. It's probably the high pressure hose that comes out of the power steering fluid reservoir. You can see it easily looking down behind the radiator. O'reilly's or Autozone carries them for about $20 - $30 depending on your vehicle.

I dont know how to re-cal the speedo but I do know that if it ends up being a seal on the power steering pump that you can rebuild the pumps for really cheap (like $10-15) there is a site my buddy ordered a kit from and it was pretty cheap, I think it was www.pskits.com You might wanna try them
