I have an '06 Crew Cab and the speakers have just about died...I am wanting suggestions on aftermarket 6 3/4 fronts and 4 X 6 rears. I have a Kicker sub amp and am also up for suggestions on a sub box and subs..I am partial to Kicker because I have owned them in the past. Also, I want to upgrade to HD and would like to get an add-on receiver instead of an aftermarket stereo with HD. I was told I will lose my steering wheel controls if I change out my stock head unit..Please help!

If you want to go aftermarket and retain the use of your steering wheel controls, you can just buy a steering wheel control module to make them work with your new deck

I've used kicker subs and amps in the past and i've loved them. As far as door speakers and head units go I've always had Alpine products and they've been great. I'm hoping to put a dvd/touchscreen alpine head unit in my '07 NBS and some new doorspeakers. Im looking for a sub box to fit under the back seat, then i should be set.

I agree with you on the Alpine line. I've had their stuff and it all seems quality for sure. I am wanting to get the best bang for my buck on door speakers and am leaning toward the Infinity Kaapa series components...anyone had these and can you give your opinion....also I have found the Jensen VM9312HD touch screen DVD head unit with HD radio. It has the 7" monitor and is only $339.00 at Millionbuy.com
