Hey i just have a question about the gas pedal on my truck(89 chevy 1500). Its seems to be stiff compared to my moms newer van and my sisters car. But my dads 95 chevy has a stiffer gas pedal too. Is there any way to get it so its smoother and easier to push in like a newer car? Or is this just normal

 

i'd say its normal... when i go from driving my 95 to my dads 2006.. i always feel like im flooring it lol

 

Maybe the pedal is just excited...cough cough. Seriously though, it may be the fact that the newer ones are throttle by wire.
