i would not cut it at the cat because you could get fresh air to the valves. It may be long enough to prevent it, but i would not take the risk. not to mention you would not be able to hear yourself think since it is dumping out right under the cab.

 

i will put pipes on to make it longer when i do it im just worried about back pressure
