what are the symptoms of a bad ignition coil? My truck idles fine, goes down the road fine but when you are in a parking lot or when you slow down from going normal speed for ahile it will bog down like its going to stall but never does!!! Ive done everything, this is the only thing i can think of that i havent replaced!!!

yeah but this started doing this two years after the cam was installed beleive me this is not normal my friend. thanks for your input though i appreciate it. does anyone know the symptoms could an ignition coil do this problem stated above? worse comes to worse ill have a brand new accell super coil anyways cant hurt anything

Does it dip down then jump back up or does it stay there at the low rpm? It if dips and recovers, it might be a vacuum leak. Maybe IAC? I don't think the coil would be the problem but it might. Maybe even check fuel pressure, it might be dippin pretty low at that particular time.

yeah it does on the side of the throttle body i replaced it already im telling you ive tried everything... it dips down then recovers I replaced the vaccuum already and my fuel pressure is normal thats why im wondering if its the coil has anybody had a problem similar to this

I knew that already. I changed my verb tense in the post you were responding to so it won't be as confusing. I was assuming it was a 1996 or later due to the body styling. I was just asking whether or not a TBI even had a IAC. I remember when the vortec first came out. My dad was one of the first in line to get one. I remember compared to our 1994, it was a monster. We thought we were the ****. Whoopin the dodges and smokin those 80's camaros. It seemed like a sports car at the time.
