Default Thermostat Outlet Diameter - Water Pump

Hey guys, I know this is for the 'Avalanche' section of this site, but there might be more traffic here, than that section for an answer I am seeking. But my question can tie in with this section of full size trucks...of which may help out others unintentionally. My question is:

I have a 2005 Chevy Avalanche 1500 LS 5.3L V8 4x4 (Gasoline, not Flex), and I am going to order a water pump from eBay, but the seller is wondering which size diameter is the outlet, 2.05" (Part No. 55-13411) or 1.88" (Part No. 55-13413)?

You may need to call your local dealership parts department and give them your VIN and see if they can tell you...
I see that RockAuto has both listed also, but when I check Amazon the 2.05 inch part number is says it doesn't fit the 2005 Avalanche but the says the 1.88 does...
You best bet is to contact your local Chevy Dealer with your VIN

Yeah, I am going to do that, but I was hoping for a confirmed answer. Thanks though all the same.

I contacted the nearest dealership, for the water pump, it only comes with one option, not two. But it does not title the dimension of the thermostat. I then went online and found a chevy parts distributor and it is cataloged in just the one part, which is 1.88". I hope this helps others out in here that eventually would like to do their own maintenance and need this part.
