2000 chevy 1500 4.3 5 speed 4x4
I was driving to work stopped at a red light and when I took off I heard a loud thump continued down the road and the truck seemed to be tracking wired like the rear was try to come around on it got to work check under the truck everything seems to be ok any ideas ?

 

well chevys are known for their play in the rear end but you seem to have a little more than just play. I would first check your u-joints by grabbing the drive shaft and seeing if you have play in that and make sure nothing is out of the ordinary.

 

In addition I would check the springs, hangers and u bolts.

 

Yea I checked all that left work and the rear was gone something broke pulling apart now
