OK, I've read the threads on this forum and others and can't get a CORRECT answer. If I have to go to the dealer, so be it. To reset tire monitors:
2007 Silverado 1500 (new body style) Work Truck (stripped). No keyless entry, so no keyfob. Parking brake on, key on, light switch on-off 4 times in 4 seconds, and wait for horn beep.
NO HORN BEEP!!!
Now what?

After changing oil myself at home, when I backed down the ramps. the next morning" low right front tire pressure" says 26 reads 30 with gage. Can't reset it with trip button. last time took it to local tire dealer who rotated tires 2 wks earlier. Should this happen just by getting on incline? Is there another way for me to reset if all pressures are good without going to some dealer? Thanks

I've looked through the owners manual for the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and this is what I found on this topic. I hope it helps.

The TPMS sensor matching process is outlined
below:
1. Set the parking brake.
2. Turn the ignition switch to RUN with the
engine off.
3. Using the DIC, press the vehicle information
button until the RELEARN TIRE POSITIONS
message displays. If your vehicle does not
have the DIC buttons, press the trip odometer
reset stem located on the instrument panel
cluster until the RELEARN TIRE POSITIONS
message displays.
4. If your vehicle has the DIC buttons, press the
set/reset button. The horn will sound twice to
indicate the TPMS receiver is ready, and
the TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message will
display. If your vehicle does not have the DIC
buttons, press and hold the trip odometer
reset stem until the horn chirps twice and the
TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message is
displayed.below:

You then have to let air out of the tires in the correct order for the truck to learn thier positions. Front left first...let air out until the horn chirps, then front right...right rear next, and left rear last. When it's done, it should chirp twice again. This is the process described in my 2007's owner's manual and I just had to do it two weeks ago when I picked up a nail in my tire and found out the previous owner never relearned tire positions after rotating. Works fine now and reads correct positions.

I have a 2007 Silverado the TPMS shows that the left front tire has 1 pound of air I took it back to where I purchased my tires and they said that the sensor is fine and that it response to being recalibrated. They took the tire off the rim checked for a nail and found nothing. The sensor still says there is only 1 pound of air.
