Default Tire Size for 1999 Silverado 1500 4X4

hey guys,

I've been told by a few of my buddies here that has the same body style truck as mine. They has the same factory size tire as I have on my truck. Although they told me Instead of running LT245/75R16, that i could put LT265/75R16. I am unsure of this, although if some one here would be able to spread some light on this for me and what it would mess up if i am able to put these tires on my truck.

Thanks

The 245 was the standard size with the 265 as an option.

As long as you haven't lowered the truck, then YES they will fit, no issues.
