Tire suggestions
I am wanting to upgrade tires on my z71 but am having some troubles as far as which tire to pick. I deffinetly like the BFG's and want to put some 35's on it, but I can't find any sizes over 33" for the Mud Terrain KM. I don't like the KM2's for some reason, but i found some 35x12.5x16" A/T's which I do like, but I wanted some input on how do you think the 12.5's will look on a z71? Also what are your experiences with the A/T's and what do you have to say about them. Thanks for any help in advance.

Without a lift biggest you can go is 285's but with a leveling kit should be able to get 33x12.5 under there with minor rubbin like I did...12.5 looks real good by the way

Can get up to a 5" lift for 300 bucks so im not concerned about that. And yea it's leveled. pumed up 1 1/4" on the front. I can't really afford new rims right now, so I'm limited to tires because i have to get a tire for a 16" rim. opinions on 33x12.5's with a 2" suspension lift?

"Well that depends since you are not giving complete descriptions of the sizes.
LT285/75R16 122/119R Load Range D is a fairly common upgrade for Chevy truck owners who think their wheel wells are not full enough. Overall diameter for this size of tire will typically run from 32.7 to 32.8 inches depending on brand and model although the BFG All-Terrain T/A KO's run a massive 33.0 inches. Load capacity is 3,000 lbs at 65 psi.
LT305/70R16 118/115R Load Range D has a slightly greater section width which should also translate into a greater tread width, all things being equal. Section height is slightly lower. Overal diameter, at least for the aforementioned T/A KO's is the same at 33.0 inches but can range from 32.9 to 33.1 inches depending on brand and model for other tires in this size. Remember, just because tires are the same size doesn't mean they are the same size. Load capacity of this tire is less however at 2,910 lbs at only 50 psi. Trucks that require higher inflation pressures should not use this tire. There are a few LT305/70R16 124/121R Load Range E applications out there with a load of 3,525 lbs at a higher 65 psi.
