Default tow capacity

do you know how much the 98 single cab 2500 chevy trucks can two with a 2inch ball raised Goose Neck ball in the truck??? its slightly raised in the center of the bed....??
what?? 9.5thousand?? 10thousand with a gas 350 V8 with auto colum shift??

try your owner manual if you have one. if not you will have to provide the axle ratio

Stock standard capacity was 7500lbs, but I know you can tow significantly more.

I know the gaser 350 was rebuilt completely with every thing and the trans is strong and works well for this platform of this truck and I was only curious as to the tow ratings.. I figured it could prob tow a medium sized johndear or kabota tractor on a 5thwheen goose neck but yeah.........
