Exclamation Tpms- new rims fitted, problem with pressure readings.

Hi,
I've just replaced my rims on my LT model with LTZ rims my old rims were within 5 meters from the ute i tried to relearn the TPMS to the new rims would they be reading the old rims?

I would get the old rims as far away as possible from the vehicle...

don't believe they work like that. Its a sensor that tells you how much air pressure is in the tire that the sensor is in. They're not assigned to one tire or another. With that being said, they weren't damaged when unmounting and remounting where they? that would be my only concern with them not reading the right pressure now.
