I have a 1999 Chevy z71, and there seems to be something wrong with the transmission, transfer case or 4x4. When I tried putting the truck in 4hi or 4lo it makes a weird cranking noise, and it seems I can only drive in 2hi. Can somebody give me a little advice anything will help?

 

drain the fluid and see what comes out
