I have a 1993 chevy c1500 pick up 5.7. im not sure what ype of tranny it has but its starting to act up. the truck won't go past 30mph. once it hits 30 the engine just revs up. Can any one help? Do i have to get the tranny rebuilt?

your tranny is probably the 4l60e...im not a pro but it sounds like your ready for a rebuild
