transmission hard shift
Hi i have a 99 silverado truck that hard shifts from gear one to two when its hot its an automatic trans with overdrive could it be a selinoid or sensor i have change oil in it and hasn t changed behavior Ty norm

mine does this too. It shifts hard from 1st to 2nd. Noi slipping or anthing, just a jolt.
I find that if I let off the gas a little bit before it shifts into 2nd then it will shift very smoothly and unnoticable.
Although I am still kinda concerned and some info would be nice from someone who knows about what it could be.
