Trouble engaging spare hoist
I have a 2004 Silverado 250. Before starting out on a trip I thought I'd check the spare. Assembled the various rods, etc., unlocked the "tube" but could NOT get the rod end to engage the hoist link at the end of the tube. Swapped rods, wiggled & jiggled... still no luck.
