I've got an 08 Chevy Silverado Z714x4 V8 5.3L. a Rough country 3.5" suspension lift (Mostly a 2 " spacer in the front, and a 1.5" block under the leafs) 33x11.50 Maxxis Bighorns. When I hit just around 40-45 mph the truck steadily feels like its bouncing (like I were hitting speed bumps over n over just not as aggressive) The wheels are balanced and alligned, allignment as far as I know is good my truck doesn't move to one side of the road if I let go of the steering. Any suggestions?

 

you have hub centering rings for the wheels right?

anytime you lift a truck it needs to be re-aligned.

 

To be completely honest, I am not sure if I do. So I would say no they are Pro Comp 17x9 just regular steel wheels. Could I get them at an autoparts store? I had the wheels and tires put on as it was being lifted so the alignment should be fine, I can always get it looked at but could you tell me more about the hub centering rings? Need them for all 4? Any info will be good so I can keep that knowledge for the future thank you

 

Didn't realize you had aftermarket wheels. Take the back tires off and see if they removed the c-clips on the studs. That'll cause it to hop like it seems to be doin. If that's not it, have them road forced balanced

 

by c- clips do you mean the tinnerman nuts used to retain the rotors and drums during the assembly process?

the tires are new; new tires need to be driven on for approx 200 miles to relax the plies, for a true road force reading.
