Truck turns on.. Immediately shuts off
So.. Long story short, someone dropped a pipe on the positive terminal of the battery while we were trying to get the fan clutch off. Shorted outta couple wires. Replaced them and now I get spark from the coil and everything turns on like normal. When I go to start the truck it turns on immediately, but then shuts off as if it's getting no gas. Fuel pump is fine. Checked the fuses and everything is good. Checked the throttle positioning sensor and that's good, too. Thinking it's possibly a burnt out ECM.
Are there any other options I can exhaust, first off. And secondly, if I go to the junkyard and find the year make and model is there anything I really need to do to it if I just pull the ECM off?
Neeeeeed help!!!
