so this morning, i go out to start my truck to go to school. i put the key in the ignition, and nothing. i turn it a bit, and none of the lights on the dash turn on or anything. i turn the key all the way, and nothing happens at all. who knows what's wrong?

we were just away for a week on spring break, so it hasn't been driven in 8 days or so, but i don't see that being the problem. my dad is coming over today to look at it and we're gonna try and jump it, but if that doesn't work, who can tell me what will?

 

If jumping it doesn't cause the lights to come on or anything, you have completely lost connection with a battery cable.
