Ultimate Van Package: Would you switch from a Light Duty Truck?
If a Major OEM was to develop a NEW Full-Size Van, what would it take to get you to switch to it from a Light-Duty Truck?
I know some Light-Duty Truck customers would be better off using a Full-Size van for several reasons;
1. Cargo Room (Much larger than pickup truck bed)
2. Cargo Security (Shielded from the rain, don't need to unload gear at night)
3. Low Loading Heights
What are some reasons that you would not/don't want to purchase a Full-Sized Van for either work or personal usage? If a NEW Van was being developed, what would you like to see in the layout, options, standard features, size, capability... what could you dream up?
All major OEM Truck Mfg's read this forum, and forum's like it for valuable customer information. This is your chance to let them know what you want, you'd be suprised how much this stuff influences new vehicle platform planning.
Thanks for your input,
Peter Ruck
