I DRIVE A SILVERADO THAT HAS 2x4 DRIVING . WHAT THE BEST WAY TO MAINTAIN IN THE SNOW AND ICY. SOME ONE ADVICED SANDBAGS..... ANY SUGGESTIONS

where do you live? how much snow do you get?
i have a 2x4 and all i do is out Winterforce studded tires on it and i have never been stuck once.
I live in the northeast...ct to be exact

you would be ice skating. the reason the winter tires work so well is because they are a softer compound and heat up faster which allows you to grip. a buddy of mine had a 4x4 with mudders on all 4 tires and he couldnt even get up his driveway. i great winter tire for cheap are the Winterforce tires. i feel like they are better than blizzaks

Are hte pro comp all terrains any good in the snow and Ice? They advertise them as the studless snow tire. I am in arizona I never see snow in the Phoenix area.

mud terrains will not be any good AT ALL in the winter.......

go with a good ice grip Michelin, or Blizzaks, and any 'all season' tire....LOL dont use those in the north either...all season except winter
