Default volmeter fluctuation

1998 chevrolet silverado with a 5 litre engine. Is it normal for your volmeter to drop to about 9 volts when you come to a complete stop with your air conditioner on. If notwhat should I be looking for to correct this problem

I had same issue on my '95. Have the battery checked first but your alternator is likely going out.

I took mine to a dealer first and they claimed it was the battery. Sam's Club replaced the battery under warranty but said it was fine. The problem persisted. I finally took the alternator to a shop that specializes in troubleshooting and rebuilding. They claimed the bearings were shot and the voltage regulator was going bad.

I bought a rebuilt for about $80. If you can find a shop that specializes in rebuilding alternators and starters, it is probably ok. Otherwise, I would recommend buying a new Delco alternator. I have seen repeated issues with rebuilds from auto parts stores.

Go to an auto parts store. If you have an auto zone or advance auto parts, and I think o'riley's they will check your batter and your alternator for free. Along with engine codes.

a family local service mechanic told me to look for brake rotors on local auto parts store..i had problems on my 1990 chevrolet k25, when the car started to accelerate, the brakes aren't responding...err the car should be urgently fixed! have you tried C10 brake disc for 1990 k25 on ebay or from auto parts canada for your chevy?
