I have a 97 2500. One side of the exhaust manifold has come apart where the pipe connects. Its all factory. This thing is running AWFUL. Missing backfiring. You can stomp it and it takes off fine. Let off it starts that stuff. Runs ruff at idle. Ive changed all ignition etc. So my ? Is is it due to the manifold being detached from the pipe.? Thats what ive got it narrowed down to. One side is connected the other isnt. Has the cats on it but no muffler. Its an old farm truck before you ask why i would let the pipe fall off the manifold. I just need it to run good. If i go have exhaust put back on will this fix it? Its a very sound engine. Thanks in advance.
