Default Water in floor board of Front/Passenger Floorboard

I just purchased a used 2004 Silverado 2500. I love the truck and had 2 weeks. With very little rain I did not notice b4 I purchased, when it finally does rain, the floor board of both the driver and passenger side of the truck becomes soaked. Does anyone have any ideal where this would b coming from and/or how to resolve? Thanks 4 your imput

Were you driving or sitting? This could make a difference whether the water is coming down from above or up from below. If you were driving, what were the conditions? Did you go through any deep water? Give us some more information to work with.

Just driving in rain - no heavy rain and no deep water!

If you weren't in any conditions that would have splashed up enough water to cause a lower leak, then the water is probably getting in from above somewhere. If there's no water coming in that you can easily see, then it's probably coming in through the air inlet grill just in front of the windshield.Leaks here will result in water coming down behind the dashboard. Remove the grill panel and look for missing caulking, split seams, missing welds, etc.

Funny......I have an '02 1500HD and had water on the floorboards after heavy rain. Mine was from the windshield seal at the top. Had the windshield replaced and the leak went away. Try hosing it down from the outside and see if you can tell where it's coming from.

I had the same issue with my other car... I was seaching for holes & cracks in the fllor and walls. The problem was coming from the top... the gaskets around my doors had a breach in their integrity. Once replaced the car stayed dry.
