90 gigs would be a heck of an attachment in an email. It's pretty much the same, I think.

go to alldata.com and look at it. i think its better than any paper manual because you can even make up reciepts with it and run a business with it. it has everything. and the best part is those 90 gigs include every vehicle from i believe 53. so every vehicle made in that year, and it goes from 53-2009. so 90 gigs is thousands of detailed chilton manuals and yea. i mean it gives you detailed specs exactly what to do and it will tell you what happened with certian motors. for example. did you know that gm boned us with the 350 sbc? on some silverados theres some bolts that werent properly tightened and when you start teh motor with a little foot on the gas, you can hear a rattle. its the camshaft being pushed around in its seat from the lifters. and you have to tear down and fix it. i love alldata.

no problem any time.... glad you got it done and it works now... and thats very good you didnt have any metal.. in my nissan the reason my pump went out is because when i first put the car together i had my MOM go and buy me oil "BIG MISTAKE" ahe bought delo 400 DIESAL oil.. yea i didnt know this at the time my dad "who is a truck driver" saw me buy some and told me what it was.. i then changed my filter and oil and put 10w-30 in and what happed is i went from THICK to thin and my pump went kaaa-put.. 5w-10 is thick compared to 10w-30 thats honestly what put the stran on your pump. but i wouldnt go to a thin oil now lol... thank you for asking us for help

yeah. im happy too... but when you say the 5w30 is thicker than 10-30 strikes me odd. i mean ive been going with the manufacture recommended oil. and 10"w"-30 means that in "w"inter the oil is 10 weight. or other words at cold temp its got teh weight of 10. so thats why 0w30 is a great oil because its thin and get thick as it warms and puts less strain on the motor in cold weather. thats also why they say go thin in winter go thick in summer. just like gear lube. 70w90. ive got bored at work an took that weight oil and put it in a bottle and in a freezer for 20 minutes and it took for ever for it to pour out. i mean im just trying to point that it was not the oil thickness. gm oil pumps are known to go on these motors. luckily they are also the most popular giving us the lead for parts at more places. either way. thanks again for all the help. long night but well worth it.
