So I'm looking to mount a winch to my truck. 2012 2500HD Z71 4x4. Ive been doing some research and have settled between the Warn Trans4mer Gen 2, the Westin Max Bull Bar, the Westin Sportsman Grill Guard with mount, or the Smittybilt XRC black box. All but the Trans4mer use a 12,000lb winch max. I know the rule is 1.5 times the weight if your truck but I've used smaller winches on my 74 K10 with no problem.

So does anyone have any experience with these particular winch mounts? Any experience with other winch mounts? Any pictures of set ups?
