Default winch options

i am having some trouble finding the a winch that is right for my vechicle and a mounting bracket for a 79 K5. any ideas from anyone would be a big help. thank you in advance

not yet but i made a bumper for it. and left a spot, i think i am going to go with a 12000 lb winch

a good heavy duty winch mounted properly is priceless....have any pics of your bumper?

it is hard labor for cheap pay .....same as most places. not aot of new job openings though.. but when i get to kansas i am going to try to find a off road shop to try to get a job there. if not i may open one.. just got to wait and see what the eastern corner of kansas has to offer.

I don't know what kind of mounting surface you have, but Warn winches are tried and true, so I'd check them out.
