Hey. I have an 07 silverado 4x4 with the 4.3L. I put in an Airraid cold air in and get about 17 mpg on average and before I had in a K&N Replacement in the stock air box and got over 19 with it. ha. does anyone know if its possible to get worse gas milage with an intake?

 

is the filter oiled?

 

I never oiled it. Just took it out of the box and installed everything. its been in for about a year and i seem to always get the same milage.

 

i had an airraid in my truck and mileage dropped to 10. im getting 14 now. but my filter got oiled. maybe drop the kn filter back in and see what happens.
