Default WTF is this, and where is the right place for it to belong?

Ok, just noticed this about 3 days ago hanging under my truck. Tooks some pictures of it because I am very limited in knowledge of vehicles. In very, I mean I can change the oil, do the brakes, and a few other little things...I know, I'm working on it...lol

I see nothing leaking from it or any fluids. Also the day I saw it the SES light came on, but the next time I started it and drove it after a few hours it was off and has since not come back on. Its been 3-4 days roughly.

here are so pics, if you cant tell w/ these pictures let me know and I'll try to get some better ones...

This is from the Driver side, and that is the front wheel in this picture for a little bit of a location shot...

These are under the truck from passenger side...

Maybe its a vent hose. Follow it to where it goes and see what its hooked up to. does it go to the transfercase? Hard for me to tell in the pics but if aint leaking I bet its a vent.

Probably a vent tube for the transmission or transfer case. Like it was said, follow it up to see where it goes.
