76 Chevy scottsdale cranks but wont start
Hi, I could use some help with this, Id like to fix this myself rather then take it to a mechanic so if yall could help that'd be great! I know its getting gas, so I figured it was a problem with spark, I changed the rotor, distributor cap, coil and wires, the only thing i didnt change was plugs. After all that it still wont start. I checked for power to the distributor and its getting power to the coil but the coil isnt sending power out. Im 99% positive that I installed the wires for the coil correctly but im wondering if I could of plugged the wires in that go to the coil wires wrong and how could I figure out if thats it and would that of ruined the coil? Or is it a bad coil from the store? Or is it something completely different? Please help
