Default 96 k1500 P0304!! help!

well, it all started on my way to deer lease damn heater hose connector (crappy design by the way) blew off and i limped in to a truck stop. let it cool down and topped it off for the 2.1 miles to oreilys. got a new connector topped off coolant again, ran fine. next day i was driving and temp gauge was all over the place stopped and let her cool off and filled up radiator once again. just when everything is getting back to normal BOOM! SES light flashes at me as it was in park and idle. seems to run fine when going down road SES doesn't flash but stays illuminated until i get it back in park. i had an extra dist cap i threw on changed all pugs and wires, cleaned MAF sensor, did oil and filters, (oil looked normal not milky, coolant has no sign of oil). just pulled resivor hose off and blew into radiator to see if i could see any coolant leaks, rad. cap was leaking by just a little(replaced that) No sign of any leaks on driveway as it will sit for a week or two at a time. This has been bugging me for about 2 months, i am currently trying to sell it but would like to find the problem out for eventual buy if not solve it, any help is appreciated thanks
