mitchell service information says 177ft/lbs for torsion bar suspension 4wd vehicle. the nut is one time use...if you don't replace it; use blue loctite

if the washer is separate from the nut..it (the washer) is reusable.

1 because service info says so
2 its a lock nut...the nut is oblong/eccentric in shape...not perfectly round...this locks the nut in place...after one use the nut will not retain the shape and could come loose...this nut tensions the bearing...if it comes loose, the bearing in the hub could be damaged.
