Default Is there a "trick" to being able to view pictures?

When I look at posts such as this one:

https://chevroletforum.com/forum/tahoe-suburban-25/show-your-hoe-burb-post-them-pics-boys-4911/

I am unable to see the pictures that people are posting to show off their Tahoes. All I see is a bunch of img links. Is there a setting on my end that I need to do or is there some other problem?

Thanks!!!

When you go to the ROTM thread do you see the images?
Just wondering if you ever see an image or always a link. Sometimes the way users post the picture won't show in place of a link.

Then it is just an issue with user posting.
The correct way to post pics is described in the Helpful Hints section.

Sorry to sound stupid, but what is the ROTM? What does that mean?

ROTM is the ride of the month section listed on the main page. The pictures in that thread are posted correctly by moderators, so it's a good thread to see if you can view pics. If you can't see the pics in that thread then you need to check your browser settings.

The reason you are not seeing the images is because all the images that were saved to the forum server prior to January 14 of last year, were lost due to a server crash and then a software conversion. Images from outside hosting sites you should still be able to view, but any that were uploaded to the forum are lost.

Thanks, EvansBlue, for solving the mystery. Yes, I can see the pics in ROTM. The serve crash makes it all make perfect sense now.

Thanks!!!
