Default HOW to disable automatic door locks ONLY FOR CARGO DOORS!

Hello

I have a chevrolet express 2015 2500 Panel van. No windows in the cargo hold

I was wondering how to disable the automatic door locks button in the van for the cargo hold. I have the panel version of the van as aforementioned. So no windows. I also have the carbide partition (head ache rack) which is difficult to cut and is lockable. You see, it seems to me all someone has to do currently is throw a brick in the front window to get to the cargo hold. defeats the whole purpose of no windows. How can i disable those DOOR lock switches, BUT i would still like to use my viper alarm system and key fobs to open the van. Is this possible?

Also I would like to know how easy an airbag attack (or crowbar or other attacks you can think of) on the cargo doors the rear bay and side door would be. I hate the idea of putting those ugly disk locks and installing the brackets on back. They could rust and and they just look bad. Just looking at the default locks they look plenty beefy to me. let me know.

I'd like to disable just the FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER door locks and only for the rear and side cargo doors. LEt me know if this is possible. Is there a little switch or something to toggle on and the door mechanism on the cargo doors itself OR will it need to be somehow breaking the circuit/signal from those unlock buttons on driver and passenger side. let me know

I think disabling the locks is 2 options. 1 go through the dash buttons and there is an option to only unlock the driver door when you push the key fob. 2 open up your owners manual and pull the proper fuse from the fuse box under the driver's seat. This is from the manual for my 2015 passenger.

The locking system is what's called a "ground switch" system. The lock buttons have 3 wires in the plug. One constant ground and two for switching. The switch is open at rest and grounds one of the ground wires when toggled for lock or unlock. They're all wired together so if you ground any switch wire it operates the whole system. You can ground that wire from anywhere it runs through the van to unlock all the doors. It's easy to test. Just add ground to any of the wires going to the switch. One will do nothing, one will lock and one will unlock.

If you cut the unlock wire from a switch, that switch will no longer unlock any of the doors but still lock them. All the other switches will still work. The Viper taps into the lock and unlock circuit from somewhere under the dash or in the back and is unaffected by cutting any of the switches.

To disable the unlock feature from the front doors simply cut the unlock ground switch from both front door switches. You won't be able to unlock any of the doors with those switches but the Viper will still work. You could splice in a toggle switch on the driver side if you want to turn it on and off.

If you find the unlock wire where it passes through the door jam (might be a different color wire than at the switch but will test as ground when pushing the switch) you can ground it any time to unlock all the doors. Splice a wire to it and run it to the body for a ground with a momentary push button switch inline. Hide that switch wherever you want and it becomes your unlock button instead of the door switches you cut.

Here's what I would do if I'm understanding the question correctly. I'd pull the unlock switches from the front doors and cut the unlock wire from both of them. I would find the unlock wire at the door jam and wire in a small momentary push button switch (horn switch). I'd mount that switch somewhere convenient but inconspicuous and use it instead of the door switch. That would disable the door unlock switches but you could still lock and unlock it from the back doors. The Viper would be unaffected and you could still unlock it from the front with your hidden switch
