The alarm in my 09 Aveo keeps going off when I start the car, I even drove it to the dealer with the alarm blasting. The alarm can Not be turned off when the engine is running. They have ordered a door lock receiver module, but I cant see how that has anything to do with why the alarm sounds when I start the car.
The alarm has never gone off from opening a door, only when I start the car.
Does the door lock receiver module have anything to do with the alarm? or why the alarm goes off when I start the car?

 

some cars and trucks have alarm modules in the door so if the window is broken and climbed into instead of opening the door the alarm will sound when its started cause it thinks its being stolen lots of convertables have this option cause they have a rag top that can be cut and gotten into very easy
