2005 Chevrolet Aveo...
Hello Guys!
I had an issue with my Aveo last night…I was driving on the highway when I saw some smoke coming out of my hood… I was close to home so I kept driving but once arrived, I figured that there was a leak in the engine…
My car was towed today at a mechanic and the diagnostic was:
-thermostat housing broken and to be replaced
How much does this type of work cost at dealership and other local mechanics?
Also, he said I will need to change the valve cover gasket.
How much does that cost? and how often should it be replaced?
Thanks!

Thermostat is very easy to replace on these cars and I would suggest upgrading it to the aluminum housing to avoid any future blow outs. Valve cover gasket is also quite easy to do on these cars....a private mechanic could do this for a lot cheaper than the dealer.
My Aveo 2005 has an issue because don't want to start the engine. A test was done and identified that the injectors are not receive electric rigth now. I change the module thinking about issue with the module but the problem still. What about the P2610 ? Are this a computer problem ? Please, if any body has the same or experience same issue let me know will appreciate.
Thanks,
Thanks,
