Default 2007 Aveo automatic flickering lights

I have a 2007 Aveo with 37,000 miles and its a automatic. I have never had problems such as it is.

Yesterday i drove to work (48 miles) and seemed to have shut off the lights and didnt leave door open or inside light on but when i came out car battery was dead as a door nail. Auto club came out and gave the car a jump start but the entire way home (48 miles) the lights seemd to be flickering off and on and once i got home i has able to see not only the head lights were flickering but brake and turn indicator lights were flickering.

Now i guess it could just need a new battery and will check into it tomorrow or next day but does anyone have any other ideas why the lights would seem to be flickering?

Your Aveo 2007's battery is most likely giving out. Before getting a new one I would check if this is a one-off occurrence. If it occurs often I would consult a mechanic to see if a new battery will fix the problem of flickering lights. I have not come across flickering lights problem in any car so far.

Default BAttery trouble

first check your battery cable are on tight on battery. follow neg to ground and make sure that tight. With a fully charged battery when you start your car . watch you light if they are flickering disconnect neg side of battery . if eng dies out you probably have a charging problem. have it checked out. If eng still runs either you have bad connection to battery or battery is garbage. It's not taking the charge from alternator.
