Default 2009 Aveo cd/aux button not working

I have a 2009 Chevy Aveo and one of the things that led me to the purchase was the aux input for my iPod, but now when I hit the button that Ganges the radio function to cd/aux it won't change over. It will go to cd no problem but when I plug in my iPod it won't change over it just pauses the cd I have in or if there isn't a cd says no cd but will not turn over to the aux option.

itzkatiejo,

I am sorry you are having this concern. On page 3-45 of your owners manual is says under the AUX paragraph:

AUX (Auxiliary): Press to listen to the radio while a
portable audio device is playing. Press again and
the system begins playing audio from the connected
portable audio player. If a portable audio player is
not connected, No Aux Input Device Found may display.

Try hitting the CD/Aux button twice. Hope this helps. If you are still having issues with the Aux playing please let us know so we can set up an appointment with your Chevrolet dealership.

Tiffany,
Thanks for the reply.
This had worked before I bought the car brand new in 2009 and have just recently started having issues and now it doesn't work at all. If its already playing a cd it the cd/aux button just acts like a pause button so hitting it once just pauses the cd and the second time just in pauses it, it's kind of like having a second mute button.
I think I will have to take it to the dealership and just see what they can do for me or if any of its covered under warranty, since I also seem to be having issues with my clock. When I got off work yesterday my clock was running right, today it was an hour and a half ahead, this is the 3rd time it's done that since spring.
