A friend just told me that the AUX-in jack on the factory stereo is no longer working in her car. Is this known to be a common failure? What are common things to check? The radio portion of the stereo works normally.

I have researched 2008 Aveo vehicles within my resources; however, there are currently no known Auxiliary jack issues at this time.

I encourage your friend to have the vehicle inspected by a certified technician. They will be able to offer an official diagnosis after inspection.
