Default 2014 Sonic 1.8 P00B06

I need help with a Sonic 1.8. Originally I had a P0171 code. I took the car to the dealer and they claimed I needed a purge valve and a thermostat for the mere low price of 1600. So I said no thanks and suddenly my ac stops working and all he'll breaks loose. So I buy purge valve and thermostat housing assembly $55 and get to work. Afterwards I kept getting a P00B06 code. The new thermostat housing assembly was leaking from the sensor. So I replaced with a reputable part, $128. Now I don't have leaks but I still get the P00B06? Can't be the thermostat or the sensors on it. Dex cool is staying in the reservoir. Any suggestions?

That's not a valid DTC. Powertrain codes are always 'P' followed by 4 digits/characters.
You mean 'P00B6' ?

Here is the explanation:
https://www.obd-codes.com/p00b6

try the troubleshooting steps there.

while unlikely, never rule out the possibility.
